But, if they do that then everyone has to have safety goggles or they'll get their eyes put out.
They should just go back to leather helmets.
I'm all for that...and long sleeve sweaters instead of jerseys.
I was thinking sandpaper thongs and Road Warrior style shoulder pads.
Hell yeah...and face paint to get the primal urge to kill up...
On a serious note, I'm surprised that more players aren't killed on the field. The Buffalo TE that got injured today being a perfect example.
There are some serious hits week in and week out...but that's the nature of the game. I love hard hits but I hate to see folks get badly hurt.
